How the world has changed

In this new world you will find the Former Kingdom of Myspace, the United Territories of Wikipedia and many other interesting places.

The social media map has been put together by marketing agency Flowtown based on info collected or published by USA Today, Alexa, Compete.com, Techcrunch.com, the Wall Street Journal and a few other sources.

The size of the regions, each named after a social network, varies depending the number of users. One of my favourite places would the the Rising Island of Google Buzz, what would yours be?

  5. Anon1; Google Buzz is a messaging tool which allows you to share images, videos, links, comments, etc. A sort of Twitter really.

  6. Haha, love it!

I've been thinking the same about Windows Live the other day, does anyone still use it?

    Skype? Where's Skype?

YouTube is an entire continent by itself.

Skype and YouTube win for me.

  8. Welcome back Guyana, true, Skype should be there. Things change so fast though that in a few months we'll probably have a new continent on the map. Let me know when your post about cyberland is done and I'll check it out, I'm curious to read it.
