Bored of advertising on a newspaper, TV or even the internet? Look no further; here is the latest concept…Crashvertise, using a car crash as an advertising medium.
Have you noticed that when there’s a car accident people no longer ran but suddenly found time to stop, trying to find a place as close as possible to the scene? And they do nothing but watch. Who doesn’t slow down his vehicle to take a peek at the scene of a car crash?
The crashvertising concept seems to be clever (on one hand) as it exploits this captive audience by sending a team, usually attractive girls, at the “crime scene” with big red signs advertising a brand or a product. I also seem to understand that people involved in the accident would be given a t-shirt too (that’s how they can make some money).
Clever? Odd? Macabre?
