If you love surfing but live in a place with no waves here is a solution, bit dangerous though. A group of young men threw some explosives (probably nitroglycerin), into an urban lake. Whether the clip was real or not was never really discovered although some people say Mythbusters actually busted it.
The video garnered attention and created positive brand awareness for Quicksilver in Scandinavia. Four days after been broadcasted it had been watched by more than 20 million people and appeared on 95% of surfer related websites. The video won a Silver award at this year’s Cannes Lions.
