Raytheon, the world's fifth largest defence contractor based
in Massachusetts, developed software capable of tracking people's behaviour from
social networking websites.
Riot, or Rapid Information Overlay Technology, can gather vast amounts of information about people from websites including Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, but Raytheon says it has not sold the software...yet.

Riot is able to create an instant dossier covering a suspect's
(or anyone really) likely geographic location, friends, photos and activities. In
the video below, Raytheon's Brian Urch, principal investigator for RIOT, shows
how easily the software can track one of Raytheon's employees, named Nick.
