England beats Italy…on Twitter

That’s right. Last night the Italians kicked out England of the Euro Cup but someone was smart enough to capitalize on the loss.

The National Tourist Board for England, or, as it’s known on Twitter, @visitEngland, tweeted this:

As you can see it was retweeted and favorited several thousand times.

The Italian Tourism’s team, @join_Italy, was also tweeting during the match and below is the response.

Pretty much zero response, I guess they were all partying after the game.

So it’s 1-1 and everyone happy ;)
